Meet The Conut Crew: Sophia Kracaw
Hi y’all my name is Sophia!
I am 19 years old and I have been working at Scream n Conuts since 2020 making this my 3rd season! I usually work at our Two Rivers location but occasionally work in Suamico on the weekends. I grew up in Two Rivers like most of my family however, I’ve been going to school in Manitowoc for quite some time. I am a 2021 graduate of Roncalli (Go Jets!) and a pretty recent resident of Manitowoc since my family moved in October. I am now a manager for the Two Rivers team but I hope to contribute so much more some day learning under Emilee Rysticken’s (the boss lady) guidance. I also work for Holy Family Memorial at one of their clinics! I love to keep busy and work as much as I can otherwise I just don’t know what do with myself. But, like everyone, I do enjoy my breaks and I like to spend that time with family or friends. If I’m not with them I’m most likely binge watching another tv show or rewatching the marvel movies or shows because those are my favorites.
I like way too many things so it’s pretty hard for me to choose favorites but some of my favorite things are: color - purple, food - pasta, and fruit - raspberries! Some of my favorite things to do would be playing with my dogs, going to the farmers market, and I love to listen to music and just dance along to it. Speaking of dancing, I was a Roncalli Jet dancer and dance team captain while I went to school there; it’s one of my many hobbies. Another interesting fact about me is that I am the second oldest daughter of 6 girls and I have 3 dogs - London (the golden doodle), Stella (the chocolate doodle), and Lily (the yorkie) - it’s a house full of girls!
Coming back to my favorites… my favorite menu item to make is the Cherry Pie conut but I also enjoy making our conut sundae! My favorite ice cream flavors are:
⁃ Pirates bounty w/ caramel lining
⁃ Strawberry cheesecake w/ vanilla lining
⁃ Coconut explosion w/chocolate lining
And if you’re not interested in those I sometimes get a plain conut (no ice cream) with vanilla lining and our strawberry topping or, a plain conut with caramel lining and our butterfinger topping! Watch me make it here!
